Nearly 81 lakh doses of the coronavirus vaccine administered on PM Hasina's birthday

Dhaka, September 30: On the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the government had set a target of administering 75 lakh doses of the coronavirus vaccine. It was announced that this special mass vaccination program will continue till the target is met. According to reports, a total of 80,93,236 doses of the vaccine have been given in the last two days.

On September 28- the Prime Minister's birthday- 67,58,992 doses of the vaccine were administered.

On Wednesday, 13,34,244 doses were used. Among these, 11,86,093 people received the first dose, while 1,48,151 people received the second dose.

Doses from AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Pfizer-BioNtech and Moderna were used during the special campaign, according to the Directorate General of Health Services.

The country has, so far, received a total of 5,70,85,080 vaccine doses and currently has 76,11,084 in stock.

Till date, 4,81,89,078 people have registered for vaccination.
