New agreement of 10 crore Covid-19 vaccine has been signed with WHO: Health Minister

Dhaka, August 30: Under the direction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, a new agreement 10 crore (100 million) Covid-19 vaccine has been signed with the World Health Organization. Health Minister Zahid Maleque said every citizen will be vaccinated against the coronavirus

He was speaking as the chief guest at the National Mourning Day organized by the Upazila Juba League at Garpara Shuvro Center in Manikganj Sadar Upazila on Sunday (August 29). The minister further said that the Prime Minister is urging to open educational institutions. Educational institutions will be opened with the vaccination of teachers and students.

Abdus Salam, general secretary of the district Awami League at the time; Manikganj Municipality Mayor Md. Ramzan Ali; District Awami League Joint Secretary Sultanul Azam Khan Apel; Sadar Upazila Awami League President Israfil Hossain; General Secretary Afsar Uddin Sarkar; Many including Sadar Upazila Juba League president Khalilur Rahman addressed the rally.
