Dhaka, Jan 23: Law Minister Anisul Huq said that there is no fear of any diplomatic crisis or problem after the elections.

The Law Minister said this in response to questions from journalists after a meeting with Indian High Commissioner Pranay Kumar Verma at the Secretariat on Monday (January 22).

The law minister said that the diplomatic crisis that was there has passed, or is it still with some countries, "I will not say crisis. I will tell you that there was a worry in your mind. There could be a diplomatic crisis. But there is no such fear as you have seen after the election."

Regarding the meeting with the High Commissioner, he said, "As a neighboring country, the development partnership we have, the application of the law, the clarification of the provisions of the law are always necessary in those development partnerships." Those problems and the infrastructure of our laws - have been almost the same (in Bangladesh and India) for a long time. We always discuss whether the changes that have taken place in India are possible in Bangladesh as well, whether the changes made in the law in our country are possible in India. I talked today too."

Anisul Huq added, "Especially what we talked about - they have a National Judicial Academy in Bhopal. 1,206 of us have taken training there. About 2,000 will take training. We want to have a National Judicial Academy. We will need their experience there. We discussed them."
