Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 10 November 2023: Pointing out that the country has been transformed into a changing Bangladesh, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, "No one can stop the progress of Bangladesh. We must move forward while maintaining the status of a developing country. We must be convinced that as far as today's Bangladesh is concerned, developed and prosperous, we have got the status of a developing country, Bangladesh should be taken forward by holding it."

The Prime Minister said these things while inaugurating the newly constructed 'Mrityunjai Prangan' at Bijoy Sarani in the capital on Friday morning.

Sheikh Hasina said, Bangabandhu struggled for the socio-economic emancipation of the Bengali nation. His dream was that every human being would have a home, receive medical care and education. Awami League is working to realize that dream. Fifteen years in power has transformed the country into a changed Bangladesh.

She said, "The country has been transformed into digital Bangladesh by installing all modern technologies including WiFi facilities, Bangabandhu satellites throughout the country. The people of the country have been enriched with science and technology knowledge. At present, 98% of the children of the country can go to school. They are getting books for free, scholarships. Scholarship money. Reaching poor mothers' mobiles."

The head of government said, "Education is the greatest resource. Through education, children can be inspired by patriotism to make the country better and richer. Today's children are the soldiers to build Smart Bangladesh of tomorrow, who will lead Smart Bangladesh and manage Bangladesh. That's how you build yourselves."

Urging the students to focus on getting education, the Prime Minister said, "One thing should be remembered, education is the greatest wealth in life. Money, money, wealth, nothing is wealth. Wealth is only education. Education, which is taken well, it is It can't be taken away, it can't be robbed. It will remain with itself. And if there is education, then Bangladesh can be developed and prosperous by being inspired by patriotism."

She said, "In 1948, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib was a law student of Dhaka University when there was an attempt to take away the rights of the mother tongue Bengali. Since then, he protested and started a movement. Chhatra Sangram Parishad was formed there. The struggle for language began. It is through that struggle that we gained our freedom."
