Dhaka, March 30: General Secretary of Awami League and Minister of Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader has claimed that no one in the country spends a day without food because of the capabilities gained under the efficient leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

He said that Mirza Fakhrul and the BNP is engaged in misinformation and conspiracy against the government to hide the sad history of their time. "BNP never believes in the independence of this country. Those who question the independence of the country even after 52 years of independence, in fact, their mentality is still in the chains of subjugation. Whenever they came to power, they did not do anything for the development of the people and the country," he said.

Bangladesh, which was once suffering from hunger, poverty, manga and famine, has today been promoted from a less developed country to a developing country. Along with achieving self-sufficiency in food, food and nutrition security of people has been ensured. As a result of the unprecedented success in the socio-economic field, Bangladesh has occupied a special status seat in the World Assembly today.

He said that the global economy is going through a deep crisis due to the Ukraine-Russia war amid the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, the outbreak of which has increased inflation at an alarming rate all over the world. The people of Bangladesh are also in some trouble due to the pressure of inflation.
