Dhaka, January 12, 2022: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that the place of murderers, war criminals and corrupt people will not be on the soil of Bengal.

"And because we were elected by the people, we have been able to complete 13 years today and come to power three times in a row. It would not have been possible if it had not been elected by the people. That is the reality. We have to accept this reality," she said.

Sheikh Hasina said Bangladesh will continue as per the directional speech given by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the historic Homecoming Day. And he warned everyone not to hinder the progress of the country in any way.

The Prime Minister said, "The Father of the Nation returned to the country on January 10 (from a Pakistani prison) and gave a policy statement on how to run an independent state. The ideology with which Bangladesh will run, the ideology he expressed. And we have to continue with that ideal. Bangladesh must be taken forward. This progress of the country should not be hindered in any way. '

Mentioning that if Awami League is in power, the wheel of development of this country will be moving, Sheikh Hasina said, murderers, war criminals and corrupt people will have no place in Bengal. They have to make this statement clear. We will not allow anyone to play tricks on the rights of the people.

Mentioning that the Father of the Nation has taught the country and the people of the country in Vanobas, he said that on his return to the country on January 10, he said that the people of this country will get food, clothes, they will be entitled to a better life.

In her speech, the Prime Minister called upon all to be vaccinated as well as to use masks and adhere to hygiene rules.

"Everyone will get vaccinated. There is no shortage of vaccines," she said.
