Obaidul Quader Obaidul Quader urges to forget differences and unite
Dhaka, June 30: Awami League General Secretary and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader urged to forget the differences and unite and said, "Let us purify the mind's ink on the stone of sacrifice. Illuminate the darkness of the corner of the heart. Be devoted to the greater welfare of the country and nation by avoiding small interests."
He made this call in a video message sent by Awami League to the countrymen on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha on Thursday.
Obaidul Quader said, Eid-ul-Azha is resplendent with the glory of sacrifice. We have to understand the significance and meaning of our sacrifices and create a way for peace and welfare in the society. And that is why everyone has no choice but to be inspired by the mentality of moderation and sacrifice.
He said that the architect of developing Bangladesh, Bangabandhu's daughter Deshratna Sheikh Hasina, is working tirelessly to build a developed and prosperous Bangladesh, building a smart Bangladesh with dedication, honesty and sacrifice. The ideal of genuine love and sacrifice urges us to dedicate ourselves to the practice of action, thought, sacrifice, loyalty and honesty in building a prosperous Bangladesh in our personal and social life.
Awami League General Secretary said, today is a call to strengthen the hand of Bangabandhu's daughter Deshratna Sheikh Hasina by being energized by the mantra of unity in the construction of non-communal Bangladesh. On behalf of Bangladesh Awami League, I wish the people of Bangladesh Eid Mubarak.
