Shahbaz-Hasina Message Pakistan PM Sharif sends condolence message to PM Hasina on National Mourning Day
Dhaka, August 17: Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has sent a condolence message to his Bangladeshi counterpart Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the occasion of National Mourning Day.
The day marks the 47th death anniversary of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation.
National Mourning Day was observed in the country on August 15.
His message reads:
Excellency,
I am writing to convey our condolences to you and the people of Bangladesh on the 47th death anniversary of your father and other members of your family.
May Almighty Allah grant him and other members of your family the highest place in Jannah.
The grieving members of your extended family are in our prayers on this occasion.
Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.
