From midnight to morning, moderate to dense fog may occur over river basins and adjoining areas of the country, and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere in the country and may continue till afternoon in some parts of the country.

Night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country and day temperatures may rise by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius, he said.
