Dhaka, January 28: Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq said that the next national parliament election will be held according to the constitution.

He told reporters at Akhaura railway station on Friday that Bangladesh has a constitution and the way to conduct the National Assembly elections is clearly stated there. Therefore, according to the constitution, the next parliamentary elections of the country will be held.

Anisul Huq also said that any political party can carry out any political activities in a democratic country.

He said that the ruling Awami League and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's government have no objection in this regard.

He said, "Awami League believes in democracy because they have established democracy in Bangladesh."

When the Law Minister reached Akhaura in the morning, he was welcomed by the local Awami League, Jubo League and Chhatra League leaders and activists. He inaugurated the recently reconstructed Masjid Noor at Haji Mahalla in Radha Nagar area on his way to Kasbah.
