Parliament Session Parliament session to begin on August 28
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, August 12: The 19th session of the ongoing 11th National Parliament will begin on August 28 (Sunday). Joint Secretary of Parliament Tariq Mahmud said that the session will start at 5 pm that day.
On Thursday (August 11), President Md. Abdul Hamid convened the parliament session. He convened this session under the power given in Clause (1) of Article 72 of the Constitution of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
According to the constitution, there is an obligation to convene another session within 60 days of the end of one session. Earlier, the 18th budget session of the National Parliament ended on June 30.
