Own Correspondent, Dhaka, July 12: Ignoring the hundreds of sufferings, many of those who went to the village to celebrate Eid with their families have started returning to Dhaka in search of livelihood.

Many people have started entering Dhaka from the afternoon a day after Eid. Those whose offices or workplaces are opening on Tuesday have returned to Dhaka on Monday.

On Monday (July 11) afternoon, long-distance buses carrying passengers from different districts of the country were seen entering Dhaka. However, the number of people coming to Dhaka on the day after Eid is not very high. Most of the buses have entered Dhaka with half passengers.

Speaking at the bus counters in Kalyanpur, Technical and Gabtali, it was learned that the buses which had left till noon in certain districts were entering Dhaka in the afternoon and evening. As it was the day after Eid, there were not many passengers in these buses. Most of the students will come to Dhaka in the buses that will leave from the district at night. Because many offices will open tomorrow, these passengers will join their workplace from tomorrow.

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, 65 lakh 78 thousand 866 people had left Dhaka from 8 to 9 July. Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar said this on the basis of SIM cards going out of Dhaka. He shared this information on social media Facebook on Sunday (July 10) night.

In the last Eid-ul-Fitr, this number was about 86 lakh. However, this calculation is based on the average number of SIMs per person. No one under the age of 18 years falls into this category.
