People pray for global peace, end of Russia-Ukraine war on the glorious night of Shab-e-Barat

Own Correspondent, Dhaka, March 19: Glorious night Lailatul Barat. Holy Shab-e-Barat was celebrated all over the country on Friday night with due religious dignity. Muslims observe the day as a night of good fortune.

In the last two Shab-e-Barat due to Covid-19, Muslims worshipped at home. But this time, devout Muslims gather in the mosques. On this night, Muslims pray for peace and prosperity of the country. At the same time, they wished for global peace, including an end to the Russia-Ukraine war. Many also wanted to get rid of price volatility during Ramadan.

Many devout Muslims, meanwhile, feel that the effects of the Russia-Ukraine conflict are being reflected on the daily necessities. That is why they want an end to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

People also wished an end of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Baitul Mukarram National Mosque's Imam Hafez Maulana Ehsan Haque Jilani performed Waz in Maghrib Mosque. He said, this night is the night of virtue, the night of worship. We have to stand by the people tonight. People need to be loved. It is the night of virtue. He further said that tonight Allah forgives our sins.
