Dhaka, March 30: On the occasion of Mujib Year, the government is giving houses to the homeless and landless people of the country. After fulfilling this dream of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina burst into tears in Parliament. She also said that giving these houses as gifts is the happiest day in her life.

On Wednesday (March 30), the Prime Minister became emotional in response to a supplementary question from Jatiya Party MP Fakhrul Imam. In a supplementary question, Fakhrul Imam requested the Prime Minister to reminisce about his happiness.

After independence, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman started building cluster villages for the landless and homeless, the Prime Minister said, adding that her (Bangabandhu's) dream was that no one in the country would be homeless, landless and without address. It was the goal of the father of the nation.

The Prime Minister said the only task is to fulfill the goal of the father of the nation, adding that my goal is to give people a better life. Since coming to power in 1996, we have been building houses and rehabilitating landless people. We are not just sitting with the house, paying them after giving the house, training them. I am also making way for income. After the 15th of August, I came back to Bangladesh with the burden of the sorrow, the pain, the pain that I had to suffer in my life, to fulfill my father's dream.

The Prime Minister said that he was conducting regular inquiries after the gift of the house, adding that the Prime Minister's Office monitors it very well. Office secretaries and officials often go to see how they are doing. Send me pictures after seeing. I saw the feeling of people after getting the house. They got the address, I realized their tears, smiles, pain in that joy. That day I too ..... A man, a family - who got an address. Their lives have changed since they got the house. Lack, no poverty. Has been able to establish his own life.

"It's the happiest day of my life," he said. A man who had nothing, I was able to give him a house and put a smile on his face. There can be no greater joy than this. I could not hold back my tears of joy that day. I cried profusely. Because that was my father's dream. At this time, the Prime Minister became emotional. Her eyes get wet with water.

The Prime Minister said that now many houses have been decorated with various furniture including fridge and television.
