Sheikh Hasina PM Hasina reassures nation on availability of essential commodities during Ramadan
Dhaka, Feb 23: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said on Friday (February 23) that there will be no shortage of commodities in the market during the upcoming month of Ramadan.
Replying to a question at a press conference in her official residence Ganabhaban, Prime Minister said, “There will be no scarcity of anything during Ramadan. All arrangements have already been made.”
The press conference was organized to inform the public about the outcomes of Hasina's recent visit to Germany to attend the Munich Security Conference (MSC) 2024.
Talking about essential commodities during the holy month of Ramadan, Sheikh Hasina said there is an arrangement to import sufficient amounts of goods like grams, dates and sugar.
“So, there will be no problem with this,” PM added.
