PM Hasina taking stock of people suffering due to Pirganj violence

Dhaka, October 24, 2021: The government stands by the victims in Pirganj. The Prime Minister is looking for him all the time.

The government is cooperating in all possible ways in the service of humanity. In the meantime, 16 houses have been reconstructed. Speaker Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury said this.

He was accompanied by a delegation of Narayanganj businessmen and Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Unity Parishad leaders led by AKM Shamim Osman, MP from Narayanganj-4 constituency, to meet the Speaker in Parliament on Saturday (October 23rd).

During the meeting, they discussed the recent unprovoked attacks on the Hindu community in different parts of the country, including Pirganj and Comilla in Rangpur. The Narayanganj delegation led by Shamim Osman handed over a check of Tk 5 million to the Speaker for the victims of the Hindu community in Pirganj.

Khaled Haider Khan Kajal, President of Narayanganj Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Prabir Kumar Saha, Chairman of Dream Holiday Park, Paritosh Kanti Saha, Former Trustee of Hindu Religious Welfare Trust, Dipak Kumar Saha, President of Narayanganj Puja Udjapan Parishad, Narayanganj Parishad Other leaders including Liton Pal and senior officials of the Parliament Secretariat were present.
