PM orders to be strict against extortion in transportation of goods

The Prime Minister gave this order in the secretary meeting on Monday. The meeting was held at the Prime Minister's office. At the end of the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Md. Mahbub Hossain informed the journalists about the instructions of the Prime Minister.

The Cabinet Secretary said, "She (Prime Minister) has asked to monitor the law and order and control the market price. She also mentioned a specific area to monitor. Many times the topic of extortion comes up at different stages for the price of goods. News comes. In this case, she asked all concerned to take strict action. So that it doesn't happen anywhere."

Explaining the context on which the Prime Minister said about preventing extortion in the transport of goods, the Cabinet Secretary said that regarding the instructions she gave for market monitoring, she said that due to such reasons, the prices of goods often increase. So it should not happen. That is why she asked the concerned authorities to stay on the ground very strongly."
