Dhaka, April 4, 2021: Noting that the second wave of coronavirus is taking a deadly shape worldwide, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina urged everyone to follow the hygiene rules.

Speaking about the one-week lockdown decision, he said, "I came here a while ago to sign a management file to protect people in the second wave of corona." Now the notification will be issued. I know everyone will have a little trouble. People will have a little problem. Even then I will say, life is big. Life is before. Everyone has to save life.

Leader of Parliament Sheikh Hasina said this in her closing remarks of the 12th session of the National Assembly on Sunday (April 4). He wants everyone's cooperation to stop the second wave of corona.

On the question of corona infection, he said, "Since corona started in March last year, we have been able to control it by taking various measures including hygiene." Today it is seen again, the second wave of Corona. Everyone must come forward to deal with this second wave.

Regarding the second wave, Sheikh Hasina said, it is not clear how much damage the virus did this time.

"But suddenly the situation became worse," she said.

"Therefore, everyone must be careful. I request you to follow the hygiene rules. Since March 29, the number of corona infections and deaths has risen sharply. It has been increasing since then. Sometimes decreasing. That is why we have taken this step. So you have to follow the hygiene rules. Must wear a mask. Social distance must be maintained. Such ceremonies including marriage should be stopped. I have decided to stop tourism," the PM warned.

She added that if you come from abroad, you have to stay in quarantine. Announced everything lockdown for a week. If you accept that, at least a little bit will come under control.

"People have become desperate since we started vaccinating," she said.

"They think nothing will happen. Everyone seems to be moving freely. We have to stop moving freely. As I have seen before, the elderly are infected. But now I see young people and even children being infected. They also need to be protected," Hasina said.

Advising everyone to be careful, she said everyone should be a little safe.

"We are taking appropriate measures in all matters of treatment, vaccination, vaccines. We have given one point vaccine. I will start the second dose. I will immediately arrange for a new vaccine," Hasina said.
