Sheikh Hasina PM visits Gopalganj obeying election code of conduct
Dhaka, Dec 9: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina made a two-day personal visit to her home district Gopalganj in keeping with the election code of conduct.
Prime Minister's Assistant Press Secretary MM Imrul Kayas said that the Prime Minister visited Tungipara and Kotalipara in her own district obeying the election code of conduct.
Awami League President Sheikh Hasina went to Gopalganj in a private car on Thursday afternoon. Immediately after reaching Tungipara, she paid respect and prayed at the tomb of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. On Friday afternoon, she recited prayers and Fateha at the mausoleum of Bangabandhu and other martyrs of August 15, 1975. Later she walked from Bangabandhu's tomb to her residence.
