Dhaka, March 4: The Department of Primary Education (DPE) has started all kinds of preparations to re-open educational institutions and maintain hygiene. It is learned that 75 percent of the cleaning work of the closed primary school has been completed.

All schools, colleges and madrasas of the country are going to open on March 30. Overall preparations are being made keeping the matter in mind. These educational institutions were closed for a long year due to the Corona situation. This creates various infrastructural problems in the institutions. Work is being done quickly to solve them. Various activities including cleaning and painting are going on.

DPE Director General AM Mansurul Alam said, "Preparations for opening the educational institution are already underway. Institutions that have various infrastructural problems have been investigated through our district officials. Besides, the infrastructural and clean-up activities of these institutions have been undertaken after checking and sorting out the information given to us by the upazila officials.

He added, "We have a budget of Tk 1 lakh for each organization as an annual development allowance. Although it was supposed to pay Tk 50,000 in the first six months of the year, we are paying Tk 100,000 there. So that the development work is not hampered in any way. Already 75 percent of our work has been completed. It is possible for us to be fully prepared before the school opens in the future. In this case, our education officials as well as the local administration are cooperating.
