Prime Minister at exhibition on Padma Bridge at United Nations

Dhaka, September 22: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited the photo exhibition organized on the Padma Bridge at the United Nations headquarters. The Prime Minister visited the exhibition on Wednesday (September 21) local time. The exhibition started on September 19 and will continue till September 24.

Prime Minister's Deputy Press Secretary KM Sakhawat Moon said that on Wednesday afternoon, he visited the exhibition organized on the curved wall of Level-1 of the United Nations Headquarters. At that time, some foreign guests including UN ECOSOC President Lachezara Stoeva were present there.

Addressing the foreign guests, the Prime Minister said, "We built the Padma Bridge with our own funds. Because it was a challenge for us to build it. The World Bank tried to blame us by accusing us of corruption, but later it was proved that there was no corruption."

Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen, Ambassador-at-Large Mohammad Ziauddin, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, Deputy Education Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury, Senior Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen and Senior Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office Md Tofazzel Hossain Mia were present.
