Prime Minister's visit to India did not fulfill BNP's expectations: Quader
Dhaka : General Secretary of Awami League and Minister of Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader said that if BNP leaders cover their eyes with their palms then they will not see any achievements of the Prime Minister's visit to India.
The Prime Minister's visit to India met the expectations of the countrymen, but the expectations of the BNP were not met. Because they want hostile relations with their neighbours, especially with India.
Obaidul Quader urged the BNP leaders to look in the mirror and look at the achievements of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's visit to India in the mirror. He made this call to the BNP leaders in the regular press briefing organized at his residence on Saturday.
Referring to the politics of BNP, Awami League general secretary said that they have built a wall of doubt and mistrust between the two countries, and spread the poison of communalism.
Claiming that BNP could not solve any bilateral problem during their rule, Obaidul Quader said that President Sheikh Hasina broke the wall of doubt and mistrust and created a bridge between the two countries. In continuation of that, this visit has spread new light of possibilities in the direction of mutual friendship and development.
Awami League General Secretary Sheikh Hasina said about what Bangladesh got during her visit to India, India has given everything that the people need to survive in the current reality of the country in view of the global crisis.
BNP does not believe in terrorism, in response to Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir's statement, Obaidul Quader said that the people of the country actually know that BNP lives with terrorism and conspiracy. BNP was born at the mouth of the gun barrel.
