RAB | Eid RAB is ready to deal with any situation during Eid
Dhaka, April 20: RAB Support Centers will be set up at bus terminals, railway stations, launch terminals, ferry wharves and important public gathering places on behalf of every battalion of the country to provide services to the people at home. The activities of these support centers will continue until two days before Eid and the day after Eid. Medical teams, iftar and clean water supply have been kept in the centers to provide emergency medical services.
Besides, RAB Special Force commando team has been kept ready to deal with any situation. RAB helicopter is also ready.
Commander Khandaker Al Moin, director of the legal and media wing of the force, gave this information to Jago News on Wednesday (April 19) night. He said that special security measures have been taken by RAB on the occasion of upcoming holy Eid-ul-Fitr 2023 after reviewing all types of risks. A lot of buying and selling, financial transactions and crowds take place in various markets and markets ahead of this festival. Some unscrupulous gangs use this opportunity to sell products at high prices and sell adulterated food.
A few days before Eid, every road, rail and sea route is crowded with passengers. Besides, many worshipers gather for Eid prayers. On the other hand, Dhaka city becomes empty as most of the people are on holiday. As a result, there is a risk of criminal activities including robbery, theft and robbery. Therefore, like every year, RAB has taken special security measures around the holy Eid-ul-Fitr.
Commander Moin said, to ensure overall security during Eid, RAB force battalions will increase intelligence surveillance in their respective areas and sufficient number of members will be deployed. RAB's bomb disposal unit, dog squad and helicopters will be kept ready all the time to deal with any untoward situation along with RAB's control room, striking reserve, check post and CCTV monitoring across the country.
Security will be ensured through dog squad and bomb disposal unit in important Eidgahs including National Eidgahs. There will be adequate CCTV camera coverage. Patrolling and intelligence surveillance will be increased in important areas including important shopping malls, Bipani Bitan, so that common people can celebrate Eid in a festive atmosphere and safely.
