Dhaka, November 10: RAB has published the list of 55 youths of 19 districts who voluntarily left home due to involvement in terrorism. Thirty-eight of them have been identified. RAB Legal and Media Wing Director Commander Khandaker Al Moin said these missing youths are a threat until they are found.

He said, "From the list of 55 people we have given, no one has been arrested so far. However, 10 people have been brought under the law along with a large amount of ammunition in two camps in Chittagong Hill Tracts."

Khandaker Al Moin said, "The 55 homeless youths are not supposed to stay together, they are supposed to stay in different camps. They may have gone into hiding from two camps after learning of our operation. They are a threat until we find them."

RAB arrested three people including two members who are one of the money suppliers of the new militant organization 'Jamatul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqiya' from the signboard area of Narayanganj on Tuesday (November 8) night.

Commander Khandaker Al Moin said these things in response to a question in a press conference organized at the RAB Media Center in Karwan Bazar on Wednesday (November 9) in the afternoon.

He said, "Recently, several youths from Comilla were driven away from home due to extremism. A team of RAB's intelligence wing rescued four of them, de-radicalized them and returned them to their families. One youth who went missing from Comilla returned home on his own. After that, RAB arrested 29 people in five raids."

According to RAB, flight attendant Emily and her son Abu Bakr joined Jamaat Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqiya in early 2021 after being inspired into militancy by tutor Al-Amin. Later, Abu Bakr left home in March 2021 under the guidance of Al-Amin in the name of so-called Hijrat. He never returned home after that.
