RAB RAB to provide escort services in long-distance passenger buses
Dhaka, Nov 7: Commander Khandaker Al Moin, Director of Law and Media Branch of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), said that escort services will be provided to various long-distance passenger buses running from one end of the country to the other.
He said, "Today, during the second day of siege, 460 patrol teams of RAB across the country, including 160 patrol teams in the capital, are engaged to prevent any kind of sabotage. We are conducting joint patrols and our intelligence surveillance is continuing.”
RAB's Legal and Media Wing Spokesperson Commander Khandaker Al Moin gave this information to journalists in a video message on Monday.
He said that RAB is providing escort services in long-distance buses. Besides, we have made arrangements for cargo trucks and passenger transport. We are coordinating with the owners of various long distance transports. We escort long distance buses to their destinations at a specific time. Besides, security will be provided for safe transportation of goods.
Regarding the movement of garment workers, he said, "Last Saturday, along with senior officers of RAB, we visited Dhaka, Savar, Ashulia and various areas including Gazipur, Kaliakair where there are many garments. After the visit there, we have given a strong message against those who have resorted to violence and vandalism to ruin the garment sector.”
