Racket Bust Racket embezzles millions using Bangabandhu's family name
Dhaka, May 18: A fraudulent ring has embezzled crores of takas from various contractors and organizations using the names and identities of various important people of the state, including members of Bangabandhu's family.
According to RAB, the fraudsters, who have been embezzling crores of rupees for a long time, are currently dredging the Titas River, Arial Khan was planning to cheat with various contractors in the name of getting dredging and river bank protection dam project, drain renovation work of Dhaka Metropolitan North City Corporation, construction work of various government offices in the capital and construction work of the university.
Following this, the National Security Intelligence Agency (NSI) and RAB-3 arrested Mansur Ahmed (33) and Mohammad Mohsin Chowdhury (55) from Paltan area of the capital on Tuesday night. During the operation, various documents and digital footprints used in the scam were recovered from them.
This was stated by Commander Khandaker Al Moin, Director, Legal and Media Wing, RAB at a press conference at RAB Media Center, Karwan Bazar on Wednesday (May 18) morning.
He said that according to National Security Intelligence (NSI) sources, the fraudsters and fraudsters had been cheating with various individuals and contractors by falsely promising to get various government development and construction projects for money by discrediting various important people of the state including members of Bangabandhu family. . The National Security Intelligence Agency (NSI) has learned through intelligence review that fraudsters and fraudsters are trying to swindle huge sums of money through fraud. In this context, RAB increased its surveillance to arrest those involved on the basis of National Security Intelligence (NSI) intelligence and bring them under the law.
