On Friday (November 5) at 5:00 pm, she left Dhaka for Thailand from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by air ambulance. She will be treated at Bumrungrad International Hospital in Bangkok.

Rahgir Al Mahi Saad Ershad, son of Rowshan Ershad, has asked people to pray for his mother's speedy recovery.

Earlier, in a press release, Saad Ershad had said that his would be taken to Bangkok by air ambulance at 5:00 pm on Friday for better treatment.

Earlier, on October 28, Jatiya Party Chairman and Deputy Leader of the Opposition GM Quader said that Raushan Ershad, the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, was on the verge of death due to various diseases due to old age. She has been undergoing treatment at CMH for a long time. Her blood pressure and heartbeat are good, but is in a weak state.

He added that she would be taken abroad if the doctors gave a positive opinion. Doctors say Rowshan Ershad is mainly suffering from geriatric diseases. Physicians continue to try their best.

Earlier, when she went to CMH for regular health check-up on August 14, doctors found abnormal levels of carbon dioxide in Raushan Ershad's lungs. At that time her oxygen saturation was also low. She was admitted to the hospital on the same day. Where the normal level of carbon dioxide in the lungs should be 50-60, it was more than 200.

However, her coronavirus and dengue test results were negative. When her condition deteriorated, she was taken to the ICU on August 16. She was in the ICU for several days at that time. She was later transferred from the ICU to the VVIP cabin of CMH's Officers Family Ward on August 25.

The 78-year-old politician was moved back to the ICU again on October 20 after her condition deteriorated again.
