Sajeeb Wazed to present 'Joy Bangla Youth Award' today

Own Correspondent, Dhaka, Nov 12: Joy Bangla Youth Award is being organized for the sixth time. Chairperson of Center for Research and Information (CRI) Sajeeb Wazed Joy will attend the event today (November 12) and hand over the prizes to the winners.

As a part of the regular activities of Young Bangla, a member organization of CRI, Joy Bangla Youth Award was given to the youth who came forward to build the country six times in the last eight years.

Sajeeb Wazed founded Young Bangla, the largest platform of youth for the youth who are coming forward to build the country. Young Bangla conducts various activities popular with the youth including Joy Bangla Youth Award, Joy Bangla Concert, Policy Cafe to inspire the youth towards patriotism and to come forward to build the country. The network of Young Bangla is made up of more than 1 lakh young people. Starting with the slogan 'Connecting the Dots', Young Bangla is currently the biggest platform of youth. Young Bangla march with more than 15,000 volunteers and more than 500 organizations.

Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman dreamed of building 'Golden Bangla', his son-in-law Sajib Wazed Joy is trying to fulfill that dream. The dream that Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman started in 1974 by laying the foundation stone of the geo-satellite center at Betbunia, that dream was fulfilled by launching the Bangabandhu satellite into orbit. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's information technology advisor Sajeeb Wazed Joy made a big contribution behind it.
