Saudi Arabia-Bangladesh Saudi Arabia wants to provide comprehensive support for the development of Bangladesh
Dhaka, June 30: The Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud, has expressed interest in providing comprehensive support to the ongoing development and progress of Bangladesh. A reception ceremony was organized in Makkah on Thursday, June 29 local time in honor of the heads of state and government of various countries visiting Saudi Arabia on the occasion of the Holy Hajj. During the exchange of greetings with President Md. Sahabuddin, he expressed his interest.
The President and his family members are in Saudi Arabia on a 10-day visit to perform Hajj as royal guests of the Saudi government. During the exchange of greetings with the Saudi Crown Prince, President Sahabuddin said that Bangladesh gives the highest priority to the development of bilateral and multilateral relations with Saudi Arabia in various fields including trade and investment.
Inviting the Saudi crown prince to visit Bangladesh, the head of state said that the people of Bangladesh are eagerly waiting to welcome him. President Sahabuddin said that the people of Bangladesh want the world Muslim Ummah to move forward in the direction of development and progress under the leadership of Saudi Arabia.
President's Press Secretary Md Zainal Abedin said that during the exchange of greetings, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman praised the development and progress of Bangladesh. He hopes that Bangladesh will move forward on the path of development progress in the future.
Referring to the plan of visiting Bangladesh, the Saudi prince said that he wants to visit Bangladesh with a specific program, which can be marked as a unique milestone in the development and partnership of the two countries in the future.
Meanwhile, President Sahabuddin expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to the Saudi government and the people of the country for the warm hospitality he and his traveling companions received.
