Sheikh Hasina Sheikh Hasina inaugurates 29 projects and lays foundation stone of 4 projects in Chittagong
Dhaka, December 5: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated 29 projects from Pologround public meeting ground in Chittagong. At the same time she also laid the foundation stone of four new projects.
On Sunday, the Prime Minister came to the polo ground through CRB of the city. He inaugurated 29 projects and laid the foundation stone of four projects.
According to the sources of the project-related departments and ministries, the projects inaugurated are Halda River and Dhurong Canal bank conservation and flood control projects in Fatikchari and Hathajari upazilas of the district, Rehabilitation (1st revised) project and Banshkhali in the erosion prone area of Polder No. 72 of Sandwip Upazila through slope protection work. Permanent Rehabilitation Project (2nd Revised) of the affected areas comprising 64/1A, 64/1B and 64/1C polders of the Upazila. Seetakund Technical School and College, Phatikchari Technical School and College and Raujan Technical School and College were inaugurated under the Technical and Madrasa Education Department.
Besides, the Prime Minister inaugurated the construction work of a six-storey building of Darul Uloom Alia Madrasah under Kotyali police station, a five-storey building and a four-storey administrative building, workshop, one-storey service area and rainwater storage in Sitakund Technical School.
Under Secondary and Higher Education Department, Kotyali Thanadhin Gul, Jar Begum City Corporation Girls High School 6th Floor Building, Kapasgola City Corporation Girls High School 6th Floor Building, Chittagong Government College 10th Floor Academic Building, Kusumkumari City Corporation Girls High School 6th Floor Building, East 6th floor building of Baklia City Corporation High School, 4th floor building of Kerhat KM High School of Mirsarai Upazila, 6th floor building of Forest Laboratory High School under Panchlaish Thana, 4th floor building of Haji Mohammad Jane Alam High School under Boalmari Upazila, 4th floor building of Patia Adarsh High School, Construction work of 4-storey building of Santoshpur High School in Sandwip and 10-storey academic building of Govt City College under Doublemooring Thana was inaugurated.
