Dhaka, September 12, 2021: Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has directed to start discussions on the manifesto ahead of the 12th parliamentary elections.

She gave the directive at a joint meeting of the Awami League's Parliamentary Board and the Local Government People's Representative Nomination Board at the Prime Minister's official residence Ganobhaban on Saturday (September 11). Several leaders of the party confirmed the matter to Dhaka Post.

A member of the Nomination Board, who did not want to be named, said that besides selecting candidates, the organizational issues of the Awami League were also discussed in today's meeting. At the meeting, the Prime Minister said, "Since the incidence of corona has decreased, I (Sheikh Hasina) want you to start work." We have already taken the plan. We have confirmed that those who have rebelled in the past and worked against the boat will not be nominated.

According to meeting sources, Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina addressed the leaders present and said, "You will go to conferences in different areas and lead in the hands of people who are dedicated to the party, work for the party and are associated with the party."

Awami League President Sheikh Hasina said at the meeting, the main goal is to hold a conference. Makes the team stronger. He fixed the leadership through the conference. As the election draws closer, the false propaganda, untruths and rumors of the opposition will increase. These have to be dealt with.

Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, "Wherever you go, you will all promote the government's contribution to the development of the country." Prove them untrue in argument.

Former Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Professor Pran Gopal Dutt was nominated by the Awami League in the Comilla-6 by-election at a meeting of the Awami League's Parliamentary and Local Government Nomination Board on Saturday (September 11).
