Accident Student killed as bus rams into motorcycle in Jatrabari
Dhaka, February 23: A university student riding a motorbike was killed and another was injured in a bus-motorcycle collision at Jatrabari in the capital.
The accident took place at Kajla Bhanga Bridge area around 9 am on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Omor Faruk Polok (24). The injured student was named Jewel Rana (22). They were both students of Bangladesh Islamic University located in Mugda's Manda.
Later, a bus in ASEAN City dashed their motorcycle and they were admitted to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College (DMC) Hospital.
Inspector at the hospital’s police outpost Bachchu Mia said the doctor at the hospital declared Polok as dead around 9:45 am.
Polok's uncle's friend Nadeem Hossain said the students were going to their university from classmates and Jurine.
