Students flock to take coronavirus vaccine

Dhaka, November 2: Coronavirus vaccination for 12 to 17-year-old students of schools and colleges has started on Monday. Initially, students are being vaccinated at eight school centers in Dhaka.

As a part of this, vaccination activities of Kakli High School and College students started on Tuesday (November 2). Crowds of students and their parents have been seen in front of the center since morning to get vaccinated. Students stand in line and enter the vaccination center. Parents are waiting outside. Students are being seated in the waiting room after entering the center. After entering the booth, the students are getting vaccinated. The vaccination program started at 10:00 am and will continue till 3:00 pm.

Although there are a total of 25 booths in this center, vaccination is being given in 10 booths today. Each booth can accommodate 200 students. As such, a total of two thousand students will be able to get vaccinated from this center today.

Sajjad Hossain, a ninth grade student of BCSIR High School, who came to get vaccinated, said, “I feel very good when I come to get vaccinated. Dad is waiting outside. Our teachers have also come.

Tofail Hossain has brought his sixth grader to the center for vaccination. He said the boy was scared. That's why I brought it to the center. The management here is very good. We parents are happy.

Deen Mohammad Khan, principal of Kakli High School and College, said, "We are fully prepared to conduct vaccination activities in compliance with the hygiene rules." Here the vaccine is being given according to the hygiene rules. All measures have been taken as per government instructions.
