Sylhet Earthquake Sylhet rocked by magnitude 4.3 earthquake
Dhaka, February 17: Several areas of Bangladesh including Sylhet were shaken by the earthquake in Meghalaya, India. The magnitude of the tremor, which occurred at 9:56 am Bangladesh time, was 4.3. The origin of the earthquake was 11 km away from Sunamganj's Chatak.
According to the USGS, the quake occurred at a depth of 64.8 km below the surface. No damage or casualties were reported as a result of the earthquake.

Earlier, a woman was rescued alive after more than nine days from the collapsed building in Turkey. He was rescued from under a rubble in the city of Kahramanmaras. The scene of the woman's rescue has spread on social media.
The 42-year-old woman was rescued 222 hours after the devastating earthquake struck on February 6. Her name is Melik Imamoglu.
