Rains Temperature dips as rains lashes Dhaka
Dhaka, June 9: After the intense heat, it rained yesterday but it didn't bring relief. Dhaka residents breathed a sigh of relief as heavy rain fell in different areas of the capital after 10 am today. In the rain, some roads get submerged in water.
At the time of writing this report at 5:30 in the afternoon, there were clouds in the sky of Dhaka. Rain was reported in Dhanmondi, Mohammadpur, Shyamoli, Mirpur, Karwan Bazar, Paltan, Gulshan, Motijheel, Gulistan, Badda, Rampura, Baridhara, Gulshan, Moghbazar, Hatirjheel, Mugda, Khilgaon, Basabo, Jatrabari areas of the capital.
The weather forecast at 9 am today said that in many places of Chittagong and Barisal divisions; Some places in Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and one or two places in Rajshahi and Khulna divisions may experience temporary gusty winds and thundershowers. Also, moderate to heavy rainfall may occur at some places in Chittagong and Barisal divisions.
Also, mild to moderate heat wave is moving over Rangpur division including Rajshahi, Naogaon, Sirajganj, Netrakona and Sylhet districts and it may continue in the northwestern part of the country. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.
