After investigation, it is known that the roads of Baklia, Chawkbazar, Katalganj, Shulakbahar, Agrabad and other areas of the city have sunk. Due to ongoing waterlogging projects, the drains in most parts of the city are unable to drain properly. Therefore, flooding is a regular occurrence in Chittagong during low rainfall.
