Dhaka, February 2: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has unveiled the covers of two books written on Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The first book is a compilation of Sheikh Hasina's writings on Bangabandhu and his family and contemporary events and the second is an interview and conversation given by the Father of the Nation from 1970 to '75.
Sheikh Hasina, the eldest daughter of the father of the nation, wrote in the introduction of the book 'Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Janak Amar Neta Amar', the book 'Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman: Janak Amar Neta Amar' on the centenary of Bangabandhu's birth is a unique gift for every reader.
He said that in this book, the reader will find the life story and struggle of Bangabandhu parallel to the story of the whole Bengali nation and the story of victory because Bangabandhu and Bangladesh are one and the same. Besides, the black chapter of 15 August 1975, the story of Bangabandhu's revolt in Bangladesh under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina and the disgrace of Bengalis through the trial of the murderer can also be found. Sheikh Hasina wrote in the introduction about the book titled 'Joy Bangla' that her interviews and conversations were an important element in the research on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib.
