There are more countries in the world and we will deepen relations with them: Sheikh Hasina

Dhaka, 4 June 2023 : In response to the US visa policy, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that the world is very big and relationship should be established with many new ones.

"20 hours across the Atlantic Ocean, we will not go to any country. Across the Atlantic there are many oceans and many countries around. The relationship with them should be deepened.

She said, "We will go on our own strength. Not in front of anyone. Who will not grant us visa, who will sanction us - there is no point in worrying about it. Nothing matters if he doesn't go to America.

Sh said: "This while inaugurating the political office of Dhaka District Awami League in Tejgaon industrial area of the capital on Saturday (June 3) afternoon as the chief guest. Awami League president said, it is not so easy to overthrow Awami League forever. No one has been able to destroy it, and will not be able to in the future. Our only strength is the people of the country and the party workers."

She said that the people of the country will develop when Awami League comes to power, which was formed in the interest of the country and the people. It is proven today.

"Awami League is a people's organization. Works for the welfare of people. The father of the nation taught us that," she said.

At this time, the Prime Minister highlighted the progress of his government and said that the most development has been in the communication system. It can be seen only if we compare the year 2023 with Bangladesh in 2008. He also commented that no government in the world could inaugurate one hundred bridges in one day.

Sheikh Hasina said, Awami League is not only a political party, it is like an institute. When Awami League comes to power, this country improves, this is a fact. With Awami League leaders and workers, Bangabandhu built the war-torn Bangladesh into a less developed country in a short period of time. The organization called Awami League has always played a role in the movement and struggle for the people of this country.

Sheikh Hasina said that the people of the country have improved because Awami League is in the government. If there was no stability in the country, this development would not have happened. For 14 years, Awami League is moving the country forward in all fields. But they are spreading misinformation against us on television. We will not see who said what. We will work.

She said that Bangladesh will move forward and become a developed and prosperous country as dreamed by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

"We are working to realize this dream. The Prime Minister strongly criticized the BNP-Jamaat alliance for using the advantages of Digital Bangladesh to spread anti-state propaganda at home and abroad," she said.
