Dhaka, 04 February 2024 : Under the guidance of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, everyone is cultivating vegetables on fallow land.

That is why Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said that there is no shortage of food in the country even during the difficult times of the Ukraine-Russia and Israel-Palestine wars.

He said this at the inauguration of Nagar Krishimela at Manik Mia Avenue in the capital on Saturday afternoon.

The minister said that the Prime Minister has always been saying not to leave even an inch of space empty. Grow vegetables everywhere.

But we got the result. Everyone paid attention to this directive of the Prime Minister. How to produce bumper crops in agriculture, so that no area is left uncultivated. That's why we don't have food shortages. If there was a shortage of food, you can imagine the situation we would be in.

He said, My Ginni also does roof garden. She sometimes gives me beautiful mangoes, actually very sweet.

A few days ago I saw that the trees had died. I asked him to plant a new tree. I take care of it wherever I go; No place should be uncultivated, at least vegetables should be cultivated.

The minister said, one said he was rearing fish on the roof. If a rooftop can have a swimming pool, why not a fish farm? Even though our land is shrinking, our enthusiasm is not. How to be independent, how to move forward is our thought. That is why we are moving forward.
