Dhaka, June 5, 2022: Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations will not be held this year.

This test is no longer in the new curriculum. Students will be given a certificate after evaluating the class.

Education Minister Dipu Moni said this at a press conference at the Ministry of Education on Sunday (June 5). He said JSC-JDC exams will not be taken this year.

Now there is no need to take this test. That is why this time the eighth grade students will be given certificates through class evaluation.

Responding to a question from reporters, the education minister said the new curriculum does not include JSC-JDC examinations. I don't see the need to take this test in 2023. That is to say, the eighth grade public examination will no longer be taken. However, if the government brings any new change, it cannot be said in advance. However, there is no thought of taking this new test.

Also present at the time was the Secretary of the Ministry of Secondary and Higher Education. Abu Bakar Siddique, Director General of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education Professor Nehal Ahmed, NTRCA Chairman Enamul Quader Khan and others.
