Dhaka, January 14, 2024: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has warned that those who started arson before the elections will not be exempted.

She said action will be taken against them.

She said: "Those who ordered in these incidents will be found and action will be taken against them."

The prime minister said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the greeting and exchange meeting organized by the local Awami League in Kotalipara, Gopalganj on Sunday, January 14.

Sheikh Hasina said, "Now it is digital Bangladesh, mobile phones are in everyone's hands, CC cameras are everywhere."

"Those who are doing arson will be traced. Many have already been arrested. We are also arresting those who ordered the burning. And so that no one can do such a heinous act, that is what we want. He said, we have a lot of work ahead of us, the work we have done to make digital Bangladesh, we have changed the fate of the people of Bangladesh, we have to make it sustainable. It has to be carried forward. But you know, conspiracies never end, so we have to face conspiracies and move forward," she said.

The Prime Minister said, "I am thankful to you, I can face any conspiracy because I have a strong base. You are my strength. The people of Tungipara, Kotalipara are my greatest strength, the people of Bangladesh are my strength. The trend of development of Bangladesh will continue in the future."

"Roads, pools, bridges, we will do what is left now. The people of the village will get all the civic benefits of the city. My village is my city, I will build every village like that. So that no one suffers," she said.

Sheikh Hasina said that global food prices have increased, prices of goods have also increased in Bangladesh.

She said: "We have to make arrangements so that the people of our country do not lack food. If our people work, no one can pull this country back. Those who never wanted to develop the destiny of the people of this country, those who killed the father of the nation, those who were allies of the invading forces of Pakistan during the liberation war, they never want the development of Bangladesh. All conspiracies must fail and we must move forward."
