Tiger Lightning-3 Three-day seminar on Bangladesh-US joint military exercise begins
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, January 24: Delegations of the United States and Bangladesh met at a seminar organized by Bangladesh Institute of Peace Support Operation Training (BIPSOT) in Rajendrapur on Sunday to work out the final plan of exercise "Tiger Lightning-3" that to be held jointly by the military forces of these two countries.
The three-day seminar was attended by 11 delegates from the US Army Pacific Command and senior military officials from the Army and BIPSOT. The seminar will end on January 25.
Since 2017, the US and the Bangladesh Army have been jointly conducting 'Exercise Tiger Lightning'. Tiger Lightning-1 and 2 were held in 2017 and 2021 respectively at the United States Joint Base Lewis McCord, Washington. 'Exercise Tiger Lightning-3' will be held from March 19 to 31 in Rajendrapur Cantonment.
