Training aircraft makes emergency landing in paddy fields, two pilots escape unhurt

Dhaka, April 4: A Jessore Air Force training aircraft made an emergency landing in a paddy field in Narail.

On Wednesday (April 3) at 2:44 PM, the plane landed at Bille Dhankhet in Tarashi Madhyapara of Maijpara Union of Sadar Upazila. Earlier, the training aircraft took off from Jessore Airport at 1:34 pm. Jessore Airport Manager Saidur Rahman confirmed this.

According to local sources, the aircraft's squadron leaders Mahfuz and Nadeem were responsible for operating the aircraft. It is reported that no one was harmed in this incident. The nature of the plane's malfunction is being investigated. Police and other members of the Air Force are on the spot.

Jessore Airport Manager Saidur Rahman said the training aircraft took off from Jessore Airport at 1:34 PM. Due to a technical fault, it landed at a paddy field in Narail, 18 km from Jessore airport at 2.44 pm. After getting the news, a Bangladesh Biman helicopter came and rescued them. The recovery process of the training aircraft is underway.
