Dhaka, Oct 24, 2021: The trial of a case filed in connection with the attack and vandalism of Durga Puja murqeee in Comilla will be held at a speedy trial tribunal.

Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Haque MP said this in response to a question from reporters after participating as the chief guest at the 'Registration of New Sub-Registrars and Exchange of Opinions with Registration Service Officers' organized by Bangladesh Registration Service Association.

He said there was a clause to take video footage (evidence) of the incident as evidence and there would be no difficulty in accepting it. The case will be tried by a speedy trial tribunal once a police report is received.

The case will go to the trial tribunal soon. And there is a clause to take video footage as evidence in the case, it will not be a problem. Regarding the appointment of judges in the High Court, he said that the appointment of judges in the High Court is an ongoing process, it will continue. I am thinking about the policy of appointing judges.

Earlier, in his address as the chief guest, the law minister said that the constitution has given freedom of religion and the right to defend one's religion to all. At present, many conspiracies are being hatched to disrupt peaceful development. Those who are trying to hinder development must be stopped collectively.

Regarding the various demands of the registrars, he said that no department is above the problem. One problem is solved, then another problem arises. Problems and solutions are the way to go. There are problems, there are solutions.

Anisul Haque said cases originated across the country for two reasons, another for personal reasons related to land. The land is the treasure of human life, even with life, people want to protect it. In that sense, you are the guardian of it. That is how we have to serve the people.
