Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 23 March 2024: Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has termed BNP's 'crazy and unrealistic actions' to try to destroy relations with neighboring India. He made this comment in a press conference at the Awami League president's political office in Dhanmondi of the capital on Friday.

Obaidul Quader said, how bankrupt and careless BNP is trying to destroy relations by rejecting India! After the assassination of Bangabandhu, this country suffered more due to the hostility with India. How bankrupt, how inconsiderate a political party can talk about boycotting a neighboring state. It is nothing but madness and unrealistic activities.

He said, those who will boycott Indian products, the people of Bangladesh will boycott them. This country's relationship with India is friendly for national interest. It is possible to gain benefits through dialogue and relationship building with neighboring countries.

Obaidul Quader claimed that BNP is putting Udo Pindi Budho on the neck while paying for the mistake of not coming to the election. Almost all BNP leaders including Mirza Fakhrul have been released from jail. However, their statement is not over. However, the Awami League general secretary claimed that even with such behavior of BNP, there will be no deficiency in Bangladesh's relationship with India.

He said, Awami League has responded coldly to BNP's movement. Awami League has no idea about the knee-breaking party.
