Bangladesh police Two Bangladeshi lady cops to participate in international event
Dhaka, April 24, 2022: An international conference of women members of law enforcement has been held in the United States.
The four-day conference was attended by two female officers of Bangladesh Police and a senior program manager of ICITAP at the US Embassy in Dhaka.
The conference, entitled National Association of Women Law Enforcement Executives (NWLEE), was held in Miami, Florida, USA from Tuesday (April 19) to Friday (April 22). The two female officers of Bangladesh Police who joined were Sadira Khatun, Superintendent of Armed Police Battalion (APBN) and Tasmin Akhter, Additional Superintendent of Anti Terrorism Unit (ATU).
The conference was attended by many U.S. Police Department officials and women congressmen and former Miami police chief Val Demings. In addition to discussions, participants exchanged knowledge and experience.
