National Parliament Two newly-elected MPs take oath
Dhaka, August 7: National Parliament Speaker Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury administered oath to MP Sajjadul Hasan elected in the 160 Netrakona-4 seat by-election and Md. Mohiuddin Bachchu, elected in the 287 Chittagong-10 seat by-election, in the oath room of the 11th Jatiya Sangsad on Sunday.
National Parliament Secretariat Senior Secretary KM Abdus Salam conducted the oath taking ceremony. Bangladesh National Parliament Whip Iqbalur Rahim MP and President of the Standing Committee on Housing and Public Works Ministry Engineer Mosharraf Hossain MP were present at the oath ceremony.
After taking the oath, the newly elected Member of Parliament Sazzadul Hasan and the newly elected Member of Parliament Md. Mohiuddin Bachchu signed the oath book according to the custom. Senior officials of the Parliament Secretariat were present.
