Covid-19 Vaccine Two state ministers among 541 people vaccinated on day two
Dhaka, January 29: A total of 541 people were vaccinated against coronavirus at five government hospitals in the capital on Thursday (January 28). Among them were health workers, politicians and frontline workers. All are healthy and returned to normal work within 10-20 minutes after vaccination.
According to the media cell of the Department of Health, about 600 people were ready to be vaccinated on Thursday. About 200 people were vaccinated at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, 200 at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, 100 at Kurmitola General Hospital, 150 at Mugda Medical College Hospital and about 50 at Kuwait Maitri Hospital. However, 541 people were vaccinated on this day.
After receiving the vaccine, Health Secretary Mohammad Abdul Mannan said, "Within 20 minutes of receiving the vaccine, I started my normal activities. There was no inconvenience. 'He urged everyone not to listen to rumors.
Meanwhile, Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque visited various hospitals from morning till noon on Thursday and inspected the vaccination activities.
At 11 o'clock in the afternoon, the Health Minister first visited BSMU and inspected the vaccination program there.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak MP, Secretary for Health Services Mohammad Abdul Mannan, BSMU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Kanak Kanti Barua and others received the vaccine in the presence of the Minister.
Later, Health Minister Zahid Maleque visited the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) to inspect the vaccination activities. State Minister for Culture KM Khalid MP, ABM Jamal, Head of the Department of Surgery, DMCH, and various frontlines were vaccinated in the presence of the Minister.
After inspecting the vaccination center, the minister said, "All kinds of rumors about Corona have been proved false." People are spontaneously interested in getting corona vaccine. Each vaccination center has a different look. No one has been vaccinated yet.
