Dhaka, January 11: The use of lethal lethal weapons are being stopped at the border. This was stated by Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal at a distribution of winter clothes organized by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) 13 on the eastern bank of Dharla River in Kurigram on Tuesday (January 11).

Regarding the steps taken to stop the killing of Bangladeshis on the Bangladesh-India border, he said the two countries had held discussions at the Home Minister level and at the BGB-BSF level. Our decision is to stop border killings. We, the two sides, have decided that lethal weapons will not be used at the border. I think we are all sincere so that the border is not killed.

Referring to the importance of Bangladesh-India relations and border killings, the Minister said Bangladesh is a fraternal country of India. The people living on the other side of the border have good relations with the people living on the other side of the border. Maybe many people cross the border without knowing it. Maybe many people do what they shouldn't do. That is why sometimes one or two incidents happen.

Regarding the BNP's allegation that a case is being filed against the leaders and activists for uninvited reasons, he said, "I do not know what is the uninvited cause." he said that lawsuits are filed when there is vandalism, loss of life, or arson. Later, the Home Minister distributed winter clothes among the cold stricken people. Blankets and winter clothes were distributed among more than one thousand cold-stricken people at the event.
