Health Minister Zahid Maleque made the remarks at a press briefing at the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) in the capital on Tuesday (February 22nd).

"We want to vaccinate 10 million people in one day, especially working people. Because many of the workers have not been vaccinated yet," he said.

Zahid Maleque said that the vaccination program will continue even after the 26th. Then more importance will be given to the second and booster dose. So those who have not yet been vaccinated take it quickly. Vaccination will be given in all unions on 26th. The name of the center will be informed by the Union Parishad. Citizens will get the vaccine only if they take the voter ID card and birth registration certificate on that day. In addition, those who do not have voter ID card, birth registration can also get vaccinated with their used mobile number. If he does not have a mobile, he will be vaccinated with his name and address.

Regarding the immunization of children under the age of 12, the health minister said that the World Health Organization has not yet approved the immunization of children. Will be given if approved. Now students have to wear masks in all educational institutions.
